I like the idea of CC brakes as an option.

Did the last Gen zl1 have heated/cooled recaros as an option? That's kinda a big deal to me.

Mine has heated recaros. Cooled was not an option on any 5th gens. I would like to see that added to the 6th gen Z.

It depends on what's included, equipment etc, how far they plan to incorporate Carbon Fiber.....and how you want to approach the guess...
For example... One way to look at it is the equipment included. Take the engine. The LSA costs $6,000 dollars more than an LS3 (retail crate). While an LT4 only costs $4,500 more than an LT1. Or, You could look at past prices: the 2015 ZL1 was $18,200 more expensive than a '15 2SS. So...a 2016 2SS + $18,200 would be $59,500...but the RS package is already included in the price of a '16 2SS... Orrr....You could do vehicle price increases by percentage for new generations... A 2016 2SS is 10% more expensive than a 2015 2SS. A 2016 Z06 is 5% more expensive than a 2013 Z06. That would mean the ZL1 would be in between $58,300 and $61,500.... |

Add taxes and tags and you're bordering on $70k. And this all assumes no dealer markup, which my local dealer stated they personally never do. I wasn't in the market for the last zl1, so I'm not sure if any folks who bought brand new paid over sticker. Fingers crossed.

What do you think the odds are on it having an optional carbon fiber aero package like the Z06 and the CTS-V / ATS-V have?

Probably a good chance of it being an option. Never thought about it that it could get this from the Z06

I like it. I think a carbon package would be cool.
