Hidden compartments

I should have my car in a couple weeks, but was wondering if anyone who has the car has found any small and secure hidden compartments for storage? If not has anyone explored the possibility of any modifications for this?

Sadly there is no compartment behind the MyLink Screen like in C7... That would have been neat.

I've not dug around too much for mine.. I will tell you the door pockets are in a very odd place to reach while buckled in the driver's seat.

"Storage"

with a sig (edit: i mean avatar) and moniker like that i can't imagine you'll be wanting to find a quickly accessible pocket in the door, or under the steering wheel?

wiki, yeah i had no idea about that cool screen the stingray has until i saw a video the other day, that is pretty sweet.

Yeah, it was fun. When GM had the early Stingrays out at the last ALMS up at Road America, I was playing around in them and I loved that little hidden area. It's not huge, but it's large enough to hold useful stuff in an easy to access but out of sight way.

I was hoping Gen6 had something like that, but I'm not overly bothered by it.

Their isn't any storage space in the cabin area. In the trunk under the mat their is a small area to store small items but that's all that I saw.

There's a lot of empty space in the trunk area on the driver side behind the formed carpeting but it's not easily accessible without cutting your own access hole into the side of the trunk carpeting (similar to the battery access panel).

The car isn't exactly big to begin with. I'm sure they'd be hard pressed to include cool places like that.

It might also help if you gave us some idea of how big of an storage compartment you're looking for and does it matter where? Interior? trunk? etc.

My friend is able to fit his Glock in there...forget which model but the sub-compact one. My S&W Shield fits in there too.
