Not sure how the 2015 is set up, but if it's anything like the 2010, you really don't need to remove the rear bumper. The diffuser will come off separately and without all the extra work. Takes 5 mins.

Nothing like trying to take advantage of being a girl to have men flock around you with offers of help.

Its just the fender liner screws, then one screw going upwards at the very tip of the bumper into a bracket in the rear quarter on each side, then the two push tabs under the lower seal of the trunk opening.
Once you remove all those fasteners you pull away the bumper from the car but have to pull the sides outwards to get them to unclip from the corner brackets. Other than that they key in under the lights and into a support under the trunk opening. Make sure to put something under it so when it drops it doesnt hit the ground and mess it up. Then you'll need to disconnect the lighting and rear camera connections along with rear back up sensors to get it free. I've tried to work on the lower bumper with the upper still on the car, its easier to remove it all and work on it off the car. |
