What a rocket + a new record... no 100% bone stock Corvette on stock tires ever ran a 10.4, ever.

http://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/...-42-132-a.html

From BigNastyZ07 (owner/driver):
"This was by no means at all considered a good day for air... By the time I ran it was already approaching 70 degrees... I feel with better air the car will go faster...

BUT at the same time it will not hook nearly as well in cooler weather with the stock tires, so who knows... Thanks everyone I appreciate it!

Car has now about 250 miles on it
1/4 tank of gas
25lbs of air in rear
Track mode, all nannies off w/no launch control
ALL Aero is on!"

I was the same way for 20 years, then mid 90s I thought I'd give an auto a try and haven't looked back. I will probably have another manual or two at some point, but the difference between M7 and A8 on this car just seemed to be so great I had to go with the auto.

A lot of people were skeptical of an automatic ZO6 at first. I thought it was mostly for increasing sales at first, but now the A8 ZO6 has more than proven itself worthy!

So with Drag radials could this ZO6 owner do around 10.31?!

The stock tires that come with the Z07 package are pretty sticky, but they don't have much sidewall. I would say if someone can figure out how to put some 18" wheels and some good DRs on it, you might see even better than 10.3, especially if you can get a better DA. Time will tell I guess.

Looks like you'll finally get that consistent 10.5 car you wanted Gretchen, and it can be completely stock!
