How bad is your oil consumption. Specifically 1LE.
How bad is your oil consumption? I am using about 4 qts between oil changes and I have 25k miles. Specifically 1LE guys that drive hard every day and track it.

I didn't notice any consumption in the 4k miles and 12 track days I did with mine when I had it.

Basically zero. Even after four 30 min sessions at Daytona, nothing lost i could measure. Note, you can be fooled. I swear this motor takes a while to drain back into the pan...

At one time GM considered one quart of oil consumed in 1000 miles as normal.
Not sure of their current policy, this was about 15 years ago. Toyota considers one quart in 1300 miles normal, just for reference. |

No real consumption to report on my side either. I only have 2500 miles but I've tracked it a number of times. In my oil catch can I have just a bit that get's caught. But it hardly registers on the dip stick.
