There are two different blues. What can't you figure out?

Your car is a hyper blue. Artic blue is a different color. Both blues are 2017 colors. See this thread, for an idea of what arctic blue looks like.

If they said yours was a 2017, it's a 2017. Relax and enjoy your awesome ride.

How does what work? Different colors of paint? The only way to trick someone with color is if they knew the person they were selling the car to was colorblind.

"Hey Bob, I heard this guy is colorblind. We should try and pass off that ugly Arctic blue Camaro as Hyperblue and see if he notices."

OMG....I had a very similar problem...I got a new Camaro. This Camaro was sold as 2016 but there was a problem that I couldn't figure out. I got a "Camaro", but then I noticed there was also a 2016 "Corvette"?? I think I got tricked, too!!!

But I've been very happy with the Camaro, so I decided not to go back and complain...

Dealerships, DMV's, and insurance companies don't have the ability to change VINs to trick you that you got a different model year.

Go to the Camaro configurator and see for yourself; there are several color options, including two different blues. Hyper Blue is a $395 color option, whereas Arctic Blue is a no-cost offering. FYI there are also two different black paints.

Correct. The Artic Blue just so happens to be one of the new colors for 2017. It replaced a very dark blue that wasn't selling very well.

Artic Blue:

Hyper Blue

Discontinued 2016 Blue Velvet Metallic
