I've always had a Vette, had A 07 Z06 and A 11 Grandsport,I bought the ZL1 to hold me over till the new C7 came out. From looking at the pictures alone,I will hold on to the ZL1.Now when the BIG BROTER comes out (Z06, ZR1) thats what I'm waiting for....But I really like the ZL1!

I don't know about that, I think the handling would be similar with the ZL1 upgrade, tons of NA power in the vette... that's tough one, I think i'd get a vette if I currently had a ZL1 tho

Now that's funny. Thanks. I think I will be sticking with my ZL1. As cool as the vet is I will more than likely stick with my heavy Camaro. I feel the same way that you do every that I look at it.

If I could afford a ZL1 I'd probably go ahead and trade it for this bad boy of the price is decent..

Sounds about right. Looking forward to the Buffalo Auto Show in Feb. If they have a Stingray there it might make my decision easier. They didn't have a ZL1 last year though.:(

I would never do that. The ZL1 is a work of art. I'm not sure what to call that thing they are calling a corvette.

I see the Corvette and Camaro as two different vehicles with different applications and which reside in different competitive markets. The Corvette is a relatively light two seat sports car with little cargo space, while the Camaro is a relatively heavy 4 seat pony or muscle car which can accommodate more than two passengers.
If one isn't constrained by resources, rather than trading one for the other, get the best of both worlds by having at least one of each for which ever application is appropriate for the particular circumstance of the moment.

Yeah, different feeling cars entirely. Not too sure how many people could swing both. No right or wrong, just depends on what one is into. I can appreciate the Stingray for what it is, and it's a beautiful ride, but it just doesn't "sing" to me the way my Z does.

Dont plan on trading into the Corvette at this time. I'm at a different point in my life that I like having the back seat for cruises with the family. Until I see the new Corvette in person, personally the jury is still out on the back end for sure. Possibly in 10 years when just a 2 seat roadster makes sense for just the wife and I.
