As for performance, I guess we can ask NASCAR how their wing worked out
I don't like the wing either. That being said, I've always replaced the spoiler on all my Camaro's, so it really isn't a big deal.

There will be plenty of other options to be sure.

A delete option would be nice though. If there isn't, any good aftermarket replacement will have to use or cover the stock holes, which may have a undesired visual impact.

...or, swap trunk lids with an LT or RS Camaro owner. I'm sure there will be plenty of people out there willing to swap and SS winged lid for a wingless one.

I feel like the only reason why people dislike wings is because they feel it is associated with the idiots from the days of the first Fast and Furious movie that bolted one on to any piece of crap they owned.

Possibly, but how well will the color match?

I've heard the color can vary car to car, even when new (but much less than used). I have no personal experience.

Seems Chevrolet could just give us the option since they are already making it with different spoilers anyways. Even make a few bucks in the process.

You may now stop barfing!
Not me.

That spoiler doesn't look half bad. But the awful rear end styling is a sure call for a barf bag. It looks like some stylist just mocked up as ugly a rear end as possible and put it out on the prototypes and mules, just to screw with Ford. Sadly, it's the real deal production styling.

Yeah, this argument has been made before but it's a strong one…

In the pros vs cons of this spoiler design, the con of the ugly look outweighs the pro of the performance. If they don't offer another option at launch, they will by the 2017 model year. Mark my words.
How many people are doing 0-60 runs or top speed runs? Lets get rid of that fuel hungry LT1.

How many people need to brake from 60-0 in less than 100 feet. Drop those Brembos.

How many people need a well tuned chassis? Let's go back to a stick axle and leaf springs.

The Camaro is a performance car. Very few people actually use it to its potential. That doesn't mean we should change it.

The glass on the 6th Gen makes me

the door handles make me

the gas cap makes me

everytime i see this car i can't stop

I also have chronic barfing disease so that may be the reason too.

ive never heard of anyone complaining about the wing on an SRT-8 charger from the last few years...

honestly, if you don't like it don't buy it. but the majority of people wont let a detail that they can change sway them. it looks like there will be multiple spoiler options available so everyone will be happy. and if the spoiler is the main complaint, id say they did a pretty good job.

Yeah I like it too. I also like that I don't have to pay extra for a spoiler option.

I switched mine out a few times because I did not like the factory. The two post spoiler for the 2016 SS is growing on me though. I thin it will like up nice with the curves hips and curves (on the car that is-LOL) .
