I'm not sure yet, but considering trading in my 2010 1LT for a new 1SS. Got the V6 last time because I was commuting 100+ miles a day at the time. Now work is only 3 miles from home.

It mainly depends on the numbers. My current camaro only has just under 50k miles on it, is in great shape, paid off, and I love it. I am looking at a 2016 with all the go fast bits: 1SS, A8, MRC, Dual Mode Exhaust. So it will come down to the numbers. How much will the new one cost, and how much I can get for my trade-in. If the payment isn't too high, I will go for it. If not, I will still be happy driving my current Camaro for years to come.

I really want to trade up to a new SS. Unfortunately the back seat is the deal breaker. If I can't get 3 people in the car for short hops then it's not going to work if or my current situation.

Went from a 2010 V6 to a 2011 Volt to a 2014 V6... was going back and forth on a 2016 turbo4 or V6, but will be going for the 6 if I had to order right now. If there was not a delay on the turbo4 I'd likely be more undecided.

For me the deciding factor between the 4 and 6 would be whether I am going to mod for more HP. The turbos have more potential increases for less money. Un-modded, the V6 would be my choice. More HP, no turbo lag. Also, Dual Mode Exhaust is an option on the V6, but not the 4.

I don't plan on any mods so the V6 is almost a certainty at this point. I've read a bunch on here as far as the 4 versus 6 debate, but still curious as to if the turbo will be about the same performance wise to my current 6.

The more I think about it the new V6 will be a step up and this time I want the exhaust and a nice sound that I wouldn't get from the 4. The SS is great, but I really don't need all that power. I'm glad GM pretty much did away with the LS and will let us option up either the 4, 6, or, 8.

I find myself more and more curious about the V6 as the days go by.

What type of problems did the camaro have when it first came out?

Nothing major, as far as I've heard. I just know there are little bugs and irritants that got worked out as the years passed. More like improvements really - Stereo, power seats, electric power steering, suspension upgrades... stuff like that. There will be subtle changes to the 2017s, as owners provide input.

Trading-in

I will be trading in my 2010 Infiniti EX35 SUV to purchase for the first time a Camaro SS. I've owned 5 different corvettes. Four C5's and one C6. Now it's time for a Camaro.

I'll be trading in my 2006 Infiniti Coupe for an SS convertible. Can't wait.

I love my 14 Camaro so i'm a maybe until probably a new spoiler is available. I know it's just a spoiler but I am not going to spend $ on a car if I can't have it the way I want it. and the rear is kinda fat, but mainly the spoiler is killing me...

The SS spoiler is fugly.

No trades here. Sold off my '12 5.0 to help my parents out a year or so ago. Kids both gone and college paid for, wife finished her Masters and back to full time work, time for me to get a replacement toy

Waiver day to day on 2SS couple vs 2ss convertible. (I'll never track, never drag strip, just want a fast DD)

I will wait until 2017 and hope for Inferno Orange. Hopefully the bugs will be worked out by then too. It will have to be at least a 2ss. Gotta have 8 cylinders.

No, I'll keep my 2012 SS. I don't like the "transformers" look of the new car at all. It's not for me. If something were to happen to my car to where I need a replacement, I'd probably be getting a new Mustang--and I've always been a GM guy.... The new Camaro just doesn't grab me.
