2SS to ZL1 1LE

I've had my '17 2SS Fifty Limited Edition just over a year. I have had plans on doing some cosmetic mods on it over time. When I added up the potential cost of mods and extra mileage, plus the fact that I would probably only keep the car for about 4-5 years, I decided that it would be more cost effective to get a car with the mods I want already on it. In the big picture, the residual value on a ZL1 1LE is what convinced me to trade the Fifty before I got too many more miles on it (3,600) Yes...it was more money, but dollar for dollar, the ZL1 will maintain and hold it's value on the back end. Just give me a moment... and I can just about justify anything...haha! I wanted this car ever since I saw it, just couldn't bring myself to pay the MSRP. Then someone bought it, owned it for 3 months, put 750 miles on it and then traded it back for a Corvette. When the dealer listed it again, I knew I had to take a swing at it. After spending a long afternoon at the dealer, I came home with this '18 ZL1 1LE

That is really a sweet car! In fact, probably the only car I would consider trading or selling my Z/28 for. Congrats!

Very nice! I have an NGM ZL1 as well. Just don’t try and convince yourself that these cars are an investment, they are an expense. Enjoy the car, drive it! Mutual funds are an investment, stocks and bonds are an investment.

Probably not as much as I would like to. Besides, I need to get used to the feel of the car first.

1hp- NICE=

Tell me how the ride is. I heard on the street its harsh. In Mich we have LOUSY roads and a punishing ride is NOT what I want....
