Black Rims $200 Charge

When I purchased my camaro they came with the black rims it was a 200 charge and they look nice clean but they seem to get dirty quick looking extremley brown in person. Just wondering if anyone else is a bit frustrated or if they have any fixes besides the obvious of cleaning them daily. Lol thanks

I'll never, ever understand the love for black rims outside of being on a white car. At least they are easier to keep clean than chrome or silverpaint though!

This will allow you to hit them with the hose and instantly clean them up.

Your other option is to change the brake pads to a Carbotech type pad.

I think your best solution is to trade me for my silver wheels...

The black wheels look so good when they are clean!

I am about to order up some Hydr02 and try it.

You couldn't pay me $2,000 to install black rims on my car. I just never thought they looked better than the classic silver/painted/chrome. JMO.

I don't think you'd be able to install a rim without the rest of the wheel anyway.

Love the black rims. I wash my car almost twice a week so I never noticed the brake dust.

This is normal due to the high performance brakes and amount of dust the throw off. You just need to wash them more frequently. Usually once a week will do.
