There's literally 1LT's listed online for $17,999 brand new, so I can believe some of the deals in here.

Yes there are large factory to dealer incentives on the leftover 17's!

I see a 2017 1LT turbo auto MSRP $27595 listed at $18898 or 16898 with mustang conquest or 17398 with Chevy loyalty at a dealer in Texas. Only adds are $150 doc fee plus TTL. Just one example... Shop around there are deals out there on the 17's!!!

My wife bought her 2016 2LT A8 RS MSRP 41K for 29K last November. It was a crazy discount that was tied to the VIN number. It's yellow but for 11K off she happy to have it.

So a base model 4 cylinder auto for $19k and you expect everyone to believe you paid $2500 more for a loaded V6 convertible? Sorry, you can keep chirping but until you prove it, that is a ridiculous claim.

My deal was about $4000 better than the example I showed above after my GM card 1000 rebate and the Labor Day rebate available at the time of an extra 1000 in addition to the loyalty 1500. I don't usually keep my cars long 1 year or a year and a half at the most. Also my excellent credit score is a big plus. Many dealers will go out of their way to earn a customers business when they buy regularly and have an outstanding credit score as they want to keep that customers business. Dealers do at times also get large hidden factory to dealer incentives. That is how the dealer is taking off nearly 9K on the base Camaro in my post above. In addition many dealers often receive coupons and certificates they can sometimes stack onto a deal which can be several thousand dollars alone. My deal was a once in a lifetime deal I agree.

I think it's hilarious that I can buy a NEW 2017 4 cylinder under $20k, however there isn't a single USED one within 500 miles of me for less than $20k!

Okay, here is my story. In Oct of 2016, my '16 Camaro 2lt Convertible V6 RS had a loaded MSRP of $47,085. I found the Summit White with a 20% tag, so I got $9417 off the window, the dealer, with a little back and forth, added another $3675 to the deal for a total of $33,993 for the car. So I am thinking its around/almost 28% off. I traded in a 2012 Corvette GS with 15000 miles and the trade in value was $37,400. The dealer then also give me a check for $3,000 and I walked with my new Camaro. I am very happy! and it's a better car than the Vette. No sure if the $3,000 goes against the $33,993 to make the Camaro even cheaper or did I actually get $40,400 for my trade in? Either way, I was very happy and over the last year, the car has been GREAT. I actually like it more than the Vette. Just finished adding a CAI and that made me even happier!
