How Consumer Reports Rates the 5th Gen...
Hey Everyone,
I haven't been on here in a while, but I received the 2016 "Buying Guide" from Consumer Reports, recently, and I scanned the page where they rank the 2010 to the 2014 Camaro's on many different categories (they have all asterisks for the 2015 as there was insufficient date to report them). Here is how to read the chart: A Circle filled with striped lines = Excellent A Circle with the top half as striped lines = Very Good A Circle that's hollow = Good A Circle with the bottom half solid black = Fair A Circle filled solid black = Poor Take a look at the chart, and see if you agree or not.

'10's look great... except for the Fuel System and Brakes... I've replaced my brakes and rotors, and have never had an issue with the Brembo's.
As for the Fuel System, have you guys heard of any issues? I think the Engine (Major) is right where it needs to be, after my whole rocker arm incident... |

I was pretty impressed myself when I saw the stats on how they like Camaro's. I don't even think I agree with what they consider "Poor" on my 2011. I can honestly say I've never had a Suspension problem, and nothing really noticeable in the Noises/Leaks area. Other than that, these cars are pretty stellar!

I think the noise/leaks on the 11-12s were the convertible years.

That's only an indication on how much GM paid them to rate them favorably that year.
CR is a f***ing joke, unless you're talking about buying a blender, microwave, or a rice cooker.

Don't trust Consumer Reports and their car reviews. Why? They rated paint/trim 'excellent' for all the years. Doesn't everyone complain about their paint here?

Fuel system in '10s is bad? Sure we dont have the zl1 pump but it was enough to serve its purpose.

OK...what am I missing??? '13 scored good to excellent in every category. YET....scored POOR in Used Car verdicts....the lowest of all years....HUH??????
