2017 Camaro 2SS Auto Dimming Instrument Cluster
I have just bought a new 50th Anniversary Camaro 2SS, I have noticed that when I am driving it in the evening, the instrument cluster will automatically dim. I have looked through all of the settings and couldn't find anything at all about it. Has anyone else noticed this? Is there a way to stop it and make it stay at full brightness all the time? I honestly hate it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It dims when the automatic headlights turn on, it's supposed to. I don't know if you can get it to full brightness but on the left side of the steering wheel just above the HUD controls is a knob that if you rotate full right will brighten them, if the map lights come on you've gone to far and should back off slightly. That's as bright as they'll go.

I was afraid that it was supposed to. I have the brightness turned all the way up. I just wanted to stop the auto-dim. thank you anyway though!

Admittedly I hadn't cracked the manual yet, I was hoping for a quick fix that someone would know on here. Are you sure there is a method in the manual for disabling it?

That knob doesnt disable auto dimming...
