Anyone else obsessed with 2002 trans ams?

I had a 2000 T/A and it was so much faster than my 96 and 95 Z28 stock. Then when I put on the mods... it was insane.

mint, low mileage 02 WS6 6sp cars still pull a pretty penny. Only downside is the interior is abysmal! I have owned an 79 Trans am and an 87 and one day I will finally get an LS1 WS6!

Good call on the interiors. The pre LS1 cars were even worse. Remember that horrible passenger side hump in the floor from the tranny? Thankfully I was always in the driver's seat.

I remember the hump, but I think it was form the catalytic converter.

before I got the Camaro I was looking at used firebirds. I wanted an 02 5.7 with the ws6 pack. I love these cars so much just the looks and everything about them. such an awesome car! unfortunately all the ones I found were either automatic or had way to many miles on them =[

I to this day still kick myself in the ass for ever letting my ex wife talk me into selling my 02 WS6 I had.

It was my baby and was tastefully modded with QTP headers, magnaflow catback, lid and smooth bellows. Worst part is a buddy of mine found it on craigslist a year or two after I sold in in 07' and it looked like it had been rode hard and put away wet a few too many times.

Ah well..here she is. I loved the stripes on it, and really dont think Ive ever seen another one with them which is weird since its such a common stripe on the Camaro.

I still have my 2002 Trans Am WS6. It is one of the last few to roll off the assembly line. Its parked next to my 2014 Camaro ZL1. And yes, I am bragging. LOL

I too am obsessed by these . Camaros too . I had a 2000 Z28 , had to sell in 08 due to personal problems. It broke my heart . I looked for years to get another LS1 car. I bought an 11 and thought it would fill the void of my 2000,but it did not . I bought an 02 SS convertible yesterday,finally! . Dark blue/tan leather / 6 speed . 17k miles . 90% car. My boss has a black 01 TA coupe 6 speed,and on the rare occasions he brought it to work It made me want an LS1 car again that much more . I would have bought his,but I wouldn't buy a black car again. I also remember the 89 Pace Cars,they didn't sell worth a shit around here , a couple sat for a year or so. I think t tops were the only options . I would have loved to have on back hen,but I was a broke teenager.
