Battery Saver Active?

Anyone know what this is? This message displays when I start my new 15 Z (just bought yesterday). I cannot find any menu item with this as an option. I never saw this on my 14 SS.

Thanks for any help.

See below from the owner's manual (I understand you just got the car, so haven't had time to look at it). Battery probably low from sitting at the dealer or them leaving something on during prep. If you continue to get it, you may need a new one:

Battery Voltage and
Charging Messages
BATTERY SAVER ACTIVE
This message displays when the
vehicle has detected that the battery
voltage is dropping beyond a
reasonable point. The battery saver
system starts reducing features of
the vehicle that may be noticed. At
the point that features are disabled,
this message displays. Turn off
unnecessary accessories to allow
the battery to recharge

Thanks and you're correct that I haven't been to the manual yet. Looks like I have to play hooky from work sometime today to take it for a nice easy drive.

Battery Saver Active

Picked up my new ZL1 this morning. Battery Saver comes on every start. Read the manual and found it, however I've driven for 2 hours on and off today and it still comes on. Guess I'll put my battery tender on it overnight.

Sweet looking ride!

And Congrats.

It sound like some of these cars sat a while and the batteries are shot. I'd make the dealer install a new one...

I went out and bought a charger for it and it still didn't clear the message. I had to take it in to the Service Department to clear it. They had to reset the codes.
