I also had a V8 Camaro at 16, a M6 LT1 Z28, it was modded decently, even then it was a mid/low 12 second car

never wrecked, only got a hand full of tickets in it, still alive... of course my dad was a gear head and I grew up around cars

21, bought it as a 20th birthday present to myself when I was 19. I handle my business for my age.

Lucky mother %#%^#. I work with mentally disabled kids and as there are very few males involved with that line of work, and that I just happen to be extremely good at my job I get paid well. I also dont waste money on stupid shit. Im also extremely lucky to have parents that are paying my tuition so Im taking full advantage of that and living at home. Thus besides my Camaro and all its related items I have no payments anyway. If I wanted to I could have gotten probably up to a $50,000 car but that would have been a dumb decision. im only making about $750 a month after gas working just weekends but when you have almost no other payments you can use that entire $700 towards a car. Dumb move but many guys that live near me did just that and are rolling in brand new Z06s yet they live with mom and dad still because ALL their income goes to a car.

Worked for a down payment and had a cosigner for a loan when I was 17, now 19 and have it paid off.
