Suspicious key fob nonoperation
A few days ago I stopped at a gas station to fill up. I've stopped at this gas station many times before and never had any issues. My key fob has never given me any grief.
I get out of the car, fill the tank, and when I get back in the car it won't start, the display is complaining that the key is not in the car. So I put the fob in both cup holders and try to start again, no effect. I tried both cup holders three or four times each. So I try the lock and unlock buttons on the fob, no effect. The key fob is completely non-responsive. Then, just as I'm getting ready to panic, it just as suddenly starts working perfectly, as if nothing had happened and has given no trouble since. I'm almost positive it was being intentionally jammed. Has anyone else had any similar experience? |

A quick search on Google revealed a plethora of jammers floating about in cyberspace. I'm almost positive that someone at the gas station had one.

has happened to me on time before also. Only once. The button to lock/unlock the car worked, but car would not start. same as you. I almost panicked, then it started working and hasn't happened since.
