I tapped into the HVAC module under the dash on the passenger side kick panel. See attached.

Pin#9 is keyed ignition and is fused with a 15 amp fuse.

Here's a pic of the ground and switched power taps. The HVAC plug is the light brown one (2nd from the right). 12v switched (Pin#9) is Purple with Gray stripe. Ground (Pin#8) is black.

Hope that helps.

I just installed my Wideband a few weeks ago. I lifted the center console and tapped into the cigarette lighter +12. Then I found a good ground behind the dash. Has worked great.

This, but I tapped into the phone charger. Purple wire I think.

Awsome, im going to go this route then. I currently have the left vent pod out and the center cut out partially. Im going to make it hold the aem wideband gauge..... if it comes out good, ill post pics on here if you guys want. A new vent and besel totaled about 50 bucks... so nbd, i just dont wanna goto a dual gauge pod. I allready have a single pod with a aero force. Which i didnt want to use there wide band because its not hp tuners friendly, the aem 30-0334 is pass theough, so it hooks upto the obd port then i can plug in HPT or what ever other scan gauge or scanner im using behind it, and its HPT friendly. This will be interesting lol

Great choice on gauge. Same gauge, same pod.
