Very nice! I may end up going with this hood since the other company can't seem to deliver. Guess 5 months isn't long enough to make a hood....

Thanks guys. I’ll get some good pictures after I have a detail done. The car really needs a good polish etc. but I am very happy with it. Definitely sets it apart. Next will be the smoked tails and third brake light, and some window tint. Then back to some more performance mods.

Looks great! How is it in terms of quality? Does it feel and look sturdy, like when handling it or driving down the road? Does it use the stock latch and hood struts or do will you need extra hood pins and a prop rod?

Slightly heavier than stock. If anything it feels more durable. Uses factory hood pistons. Also uses factory latch. I did need to adjust the metal piece on the hood that the hood latch catches, which was easy. Honestly it took me about 5 minutes to line it up and tighten it down. Driving down the road I don’t hear anything abnormal except maybe my supercharger sound a little more. Doesn’t flex or shake or anything like that. At least to about 130. Which of course was done on an enclosed, legal, raceway.

Yeah sorry about that haha. And yes for sure! There’s a New England gen6 Facebook group now. If you aren’t on it and you have FB, you should join!

Dude I’m digging this A LOT! Seeing it painted, I actually like it better than the 6le or the RK sport. I like it’s subtler profile but it’s still aggressive.

Thanks for sharing. May have to get this bad boy!

The hood looks great, where did you find the supercharged logo?

$500 for prepping and painting hood and spoiler. Also painted the bottom side of hood. There was a little extra charge because he had to special order the flake for it. It’s the mosaic and from what I hear it’s not the easiest thing to match. Brought him my fuel door so he could match.

The decals my sister in law made for me. If you’re interested she can make you whatever size, font, color, words you want and ship to you. If you want let me know and I’ll get you her email.

That hood looks amazing. Congrats, and looks like your painter did a pretty good job with the match, no easy feat with any metallic color...

Thanks!! I’m very pleased with it. He did do a good job matching it. There are a few swirls but that’s nothing and easily fixed. The color was what I was anxious about.

Looks awesome glad to see more new England people on here. The Gen5 crew died out really bad the past 2 years.

You planning to go to the Herb Chambers Cars & Coffee in Burlington, MA this year or hit up New England Dragway?
