NightWing SS - The Story So Far..

I probably should have started this a while ago, but whatever...

2018 Hyper Blue Metallic 1SS

Basically fresh off the lot. I didn't special order or anything like that. I just wanted an SS. That's all I really cared about.

1st Mods: rebadged the sides with blacked out emblems. Front SS with blue, and back SS all black. Blacked out the side markers with vinyl, but plan on getting proper replacements soon.

Played with a little bit of Plasti-Dip for the interior trim. Planning on getting the knee pads and arm rests upholstered in blue very soon.

Also I purchased and installed a Replica Splitter from RPI Designs.

Next on the list, I got the car lowered with the Eibach Pro Kit. 1.1" front and back.

Changed out the back lights (including third brake light not shown).

Also purchased a new hood from RK Sports.

Removed the white rally stripes. Was thinking of getting them in black, but since I have the new hood I just got the top and mirrors wrapped in black.

I also "FINALLY" received my C7 carbon side rockers.

Installed the Corsa Sport axle-back exhaust with the quad SS lower facia. I'll try to add a video of the sound as well.

The RK Sports hood is currently in paint. There was an issue with this paint job, so they are painting it over.

I'm thinking about doing something similar with my car. How difficult was it to remove the trim pieces?

Those top pieces pull right out. Just need long finger nails. Actually the gear bezel pulls right out also. I watched a video on how to get it out first, to make sure I wouldn't break anything.

Sweet, not that there is much chrome on my car, but I'm dedicated to getting rid of every last bit of it that I can.

Since I have the 1SS (aka hard knee pad version), I decided to re-upholster the knee and door pads myself. Since I was doing that anyway, I decided to do the passenger dash trim and the arm rest.

Oh also I got the little vent rings from ebay. I think overall it turned out pretty good. A little bright but I like it.

Also I got some Nightwing decals for my side windows. haven't put them on yet, as I want to be 100% sure where I want them.

Thanks, Yeah they did everything but the pasti dip stuff. getting it to match was a total accident.

I am going to do the seats next, and then maybe floor mats and steering wheel. I just don't want all that loud blue in my face. I will have to mix in some black and another color to even it out.
