replaced black plastic knee pads

I replaced the old black plastic knee pads with some new torch red wrapped ones. I didn't know how it was gonna look but I like it.

Those really look good! Found these on eBay - seems like a good price.

They pop right out. Took about 5 minutes!

Yes. I bought those linked above from eBay. Nice leather and a little padding. Much better than the hard plastic.

Looks really nice. I've been thinking of doing this to my 1LE for a while now. It is a little expensive for a simple part, but I guess its worth it if it makes such a huge impact to the interior. Might be my next mod. I like having a nice interior. I'm sure it will make the car feel more expensive. I wish there was one for the tops of the door panel where the window meets the door. That would be killer. See if you can take some more pics but from further back and with the door opened. or from the back seats. I'm debating getting the reds or black Alcantara.

I have a picture of the red ones from my 2SS. The original knee pads were leather, but black, and I wanted the red contrast. The pads came from ShopChevyParts.com for $243 plus shipping. Installation is simple - didn't even need to use my trim panel tool - they pull out easily by hand. The door pads pull straight out. The console pads slide up, then out.

There's a picture in this thread: http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=524138
