Help! Race Star M/T Street SS issue

So I bought the Race Star 17x9.5 and fitted them with the M/T street ss drag radial 305/45r17. I had the tires installed and the wheels balanced. The car drives and rides great no vibrations or any other problems with the ride. When I get on it and go into 3rd the rear of the car seems to get squirrely or, wobbly or shakey not sure what term explains it best. The point is it doesn't feel solid/stabil. Is this normal? My front tires are on backorder so I'm running the stock front's.

Is it a vibration or a sway. I had a scary sway at wot with the 20” 305 mt dr’s.

I ordered a bunch of bmr stuff to try and fix it but the problem went away on its own once it warmed up. It was probably below 40deg when I had the problem.

I think once you get them heat sinked you'll be fine. What tire pressures are you running in the rear?

There's no vibratiion at all. The sway is at wot. I didn't try heating the tires before I made the hit.

Don’t you want sticky rubber and soft sidewall on a DR?

Drag Radial don't really have a very soft sidewall like a slick. They are stiff like a radial tire

It would make sense to make the softest sidewalled radial for a drag tire no?

I've had passenger highway snows that wiggled like he's talking too when strapped to 400hp

I had 20" NT05R's on the back for a while and they hooked pretty well without any squirreliness on the street.
I'm not gonna use anything but slicks at track from now on. I should have listened to Laynlo when he told me not to bother with DR's at the track

I've been there with other M6's like on my Vets and since I've been drag racing for 48 years I've been in about every situation you can imagine at the track. Drag Radials aren't your friends some times. Max11 did you end up running a 95mm pulley or 90mm?

Update. I've been to the track a few times. Driving 70 miles each way. The issue I was having seems to have taken care of itself. No shake at all going down the track at 20psi. You really have to heat these tires up to get them to hook.
