I would've loved to go for a V8 but it just wasn't in my budget. I did test drive a 2010 SS and it was great, even though I got a 2013 1LT I still love it and would be torn to trade it for an SS even if I didn't have to pay more than I do now. After having it for 5 months now and having made some changes (no build thread, waiting till I can take some good pics).

Anyway, grats on your 1LT, you'll love it. The upgrades over the LS are pretty fun.

Another 1LT guy here, and I love it, I"m fine with the 6. To me having an 8 is like over kill and I feel ripped off with the gas situation. If I were independently wealthy I may have a different view of things. But right now, I don't completely have money to burn. The accelleration on the 6 is all I need. Very speedy for me. I'm not trying to out run Jimmy Johnson or anything.
