Just saying GM doesn't play around with employees that leak information. Not sure how suppliers and employees outside of GM are handled.

Suppliers usually leak first. They have to communicate with a lot of other people and sometimes things slip out.

It's very odd that we have a new platform starting on a new line for MY 2016 and not a word in the press. It's as if they aren't looking

Since production is moving from canada , the 6th gen could start any time. Not a usual model change over. They could build the 5th and 6th at the same time and have no down time.

I would not be surprised if we have been seeing the 6th gen already disguised as ATS coups underdevelopment since they will share a chassis and factory between them. ATS skin with Camaro running gear, how sneaky of them to pull this off in a perfect storm type scenario since ATS coups are just being shown and we await the arrival of the ATS-V version.

Ahhhh this frenzy of anticipation reminds me of when I owned an IS300.. The my.is forums were going bananas waiting for the release of the 2nd gen...It was a platform change too.. We weren't happy about losing our inline 6's... But a V-8 IS-F emerged...

Both ATS or CTS prototypes could be disguised Camaros at this point. I'd imagine we might get some more Camaro info once the 2015 Mustang is closer to market to try and steal their thunder. The Corvette Z06 isn't even on the market yet so maybe GM is trying not to cut into Corvette sales more than they already might have with recent Camaro models that are priced well into Corvette territory.

I was watching Motor City masters and thay talking about the transformer and the guy from GM said what a better place to introduce our new Camaro ...? Is the one from transformer is that the new 6th generation camaro

This would allow them to produce the 5Gen right up to the 6Gen availability
