is there too much anticipation?
like the title say; are we anticipating/expecting too much of the soon to be 2016 camaro??
pretty shure it will be very minor tweeks.. it won't be a clean sheet design.. they-gm- will stretch the platform until the end of time.. why we didn't see any prototypes yet? the old run of the mill pictures of the transformers cars are so ugly it's unreal how that front end is awful and not suit to real world production so we haven't got anything under the teeth! those prototypes -shure there's some- running in some back far country and with so much camo we -or any photographers- don't see them.. if only we could see one and get us going with some enthusiasm it will good for the product. we only are speculating.. we could talk about it for years if really they do a new model.. is it really 2016 or it will show up in 17? when new production will start in the US? what will be your reaction if you are deceived from it? you gotta have some reserve it can be not all that you expect.. i really hope, they are going to knock it out of the park... thinking about the new ats coupe that car is stunning. hope the camaro will be better and of course sportier. and more svelt ,more, more...... |

This reminds me of early 5Gen models
This could very well be the beginnings of the 6Gen.

What do you mean it won't be a clean sheet?
The car is changing platforms from Zeta II to Alpha. Not to mention changing over to the gen V small block. |

I am chewing at the bit just to see a spy shot of some sort to get an idea of what it will look like, but until then..... sit back and relax and enjoy your current ride!

Also it will be a re-design, GM even said that it will be evolutionary, not revolutionary. Built on the ATS or CTS platform.....

It is just a styling model so they can Visualize the design. The details fire the openings can happen afterward but that model allows for a LOT of open space up front, far more than the current can.
