Thanks all! I'm still admiring the color in the garage, I love it and I usually dont like dark colors. I have to say I'm glad the LT1 model includes the all season tires. Temp is 32f here with snow flurries and frozen roads. No concern with driving in freezing temps and these Goodyear tires seem to be a lot better than the ones on my old V6 RS. Maybe because they are brand new, not sure.
The LT1 does not have the sound tube connected. It is blocked off. Any loss of sound from this? It sounds great in the cabin, I love it but not sure if I'm missing something. Also the LED headlights are really good. My previous RS had HIDs which were also very good but these seem a little better. |

You aren’t missing any sound by not having a sound tube! Enjoy the sound of the LT1 V8!

Love that color! After I my 17 nightfall grey, a local dealer had a rally green and almost wished I had looked there first. But I’m happy with the choice after owning it for a few months lol.

Wow! While bright reds and blues get all the credit for making cars "pop", that green is absolutely stunning. Nightfall gray is no longer my favorite color...
The wheels set it off perfectly too: Just the right amount of brightwork to contrast a darker color. |

OP Congrats! I too love that green and your LT1 looks awesome. NPP is key as well as that color. You will have a blast in that car. It is every bit of a muscle sports car that the SS is with only a few additions that make the SS better suited to longer track sessions. All you need is better tires if you want to track.
While I did dig the green and the new satin steel I went with black. I know me, I would regret not getting black. Boring, I know. So I ordered a M6 LT1 with Becky. My LT1 is being built this week!. I could not help but load the car up with NPP, Sunroof, Bose and Recaros. And I am paying the same price as my 2011 M6 2SS 10 years ago. What a deal. The LT1 is every bit as good of a sports car as the BMW M4, if not better and at Chevy prices. I am not knocking the M4, just sayin. Here is what my LT1 will look like, about as good as yours except your is a sharp attention getting color. I love the clean look of of the LT1. It really shows off the beautiful lines of the Camaro. My LT1 will look like this;

NICE CALL!
I'm digging that color too. If I already didn't have a DGGM Impala SS I'd be REALLY tempted to get that color. |

Agreed about keeping the price down. But after owning a ZL1 I guess I was spoiled. I want to keep this Camaro for a long time. Also after the busy dash displays of my previous Camaros the simpler display is also a plus. I recently rented a Malibu and it has the same display. Liking the old school vibes. Like the three bears the warm poridge is just right for me. Now my thing is to get it into the 11s with only a few mods and beat up on M6 Mustangs.
