What can we expect tomorrow? (10/16/2015)
Wondering if a bunch of video reviews will drop, or just penned reviews... looks like MT had been working on a video similar to the one they did for 2015 gt vs 2015 camaro 1ss
Just because the embargo "ends" tomorrow I am not optimistic for a lot of new stuff to immediately drop |

I expect instrumented testing of the V6 and V8, both auto and manual.
One of the magazines was doing a 2016 Camaro vs 2015 Mustang test. I hope that comes out tomorrow.

I'd expect a lot of reviews to come tomorrow. Some with video. Some with just a written review.

I have been waiting for these reviews to come out. Hopefully the big three mags will have some reading and maybe some videos for the test between the camaro's and mustang.

With the caddy now being rated at 3800lbs does anyone question the weight of the camaro now?

Maybe have a separate thread where we can consolidate all the reviews? We could use this thread too.

The ATS-V was only estimated at 3700 lbs. GM gave the official curb weight of 3685 for the SS. ThePill is still wrong.

Anyone know when the full blown online customization tool with be up? Including pricing?
ALSO: Random, but anyone know how much I'm looking to add to the FINAL price in terms of tax/title/ect... I live in FL so I know it's 6% sales. But lets say the car is grand total of 40k, I would need 45? THANKS! |

No.. Makes no difference. The curb weights GM has given for other cars have been accurate. Look at ATS reviews for 4 and 6.. Yes, they're a little heavier than curb weight, but that's because they are loaded. Same thing with vette.

Chevrolet gave us a hard number on the Camaros, and they are not rounded numbers. They are exact. I see no reason, based on all we've read and know about the Camaro 1SS, to doubt that the car could be under 3700 pounds in its base form. It has been stated the Camaro team took what Caddy did and "went further". Not to mention, the car will have smaller brakes, lighter engine, and less interior content than the ATS-V. I just hope we can get someone out there to weigh their own car and put this to bed. Car and Driver should give us weights, but you know the cars they weigh are going to have lots of options, adding 50 - 100 pounds of weight, and "you know who" will claim "victory". What a loser. Sorry to bring him up, but that's where your question stems from I know. Anyways...what to expect tomorrow? I'd expect general reviews/impressions/instrumented tests. But we all know what to expect the vs. Mustang reviews hit....utter domination in just about every way except for price. Bring on the 2017 Mustang....I'm looking forward to seeing how Ford counters, or if they even feel the need to.

I'd expect the only comparative disadvantages for the G6 vs. the Mustang will be price and outward visibility (and perhaps usability of the back seats). Styling is a different matter, everyone's going to have their own judgment on that.
