Nope. I currently have a 2015 Z06 with the Z07 Race Package. I traded in a 2011 ZR1 Corvette, which is still to date GM's fastest production car on the Nürburgring track in Germany. I actually drove that car on the NCM Motorsports track and hit easily 125 on the back stretch, where other cars barely hit 100. I would have to shut it down before I wanted to. I ran it off the track in a spin taking a curve at 85-90ish that most people would take at around 50. It was holding the curve all day long at 75-80.

My SS is 438 HP, but I treat that car like a god. It is my garage queen. Doesn't get ridden hard and doesn't get wet/dirty.

If I get on, no. Z06 is faster and my 5th Gen was faster still.

It won't be as fast as my GTO, but it'll be awfully close. I don't plan to modify the Camaro (planning on a 2017 SS).

yup! the fastest one is my 2014 v6 right now with 323 hp. never owed a v8 before

The pick-up I currently have was just more practical. As roomy as the challenger is still doesn't beat 4 doors for multiple passengers. And hauling a trailer about once a week. Now i'm in a position to have both come next year

In hindsight I should have toughed it out and gotten a beater farm truck or something.

Alfonsoj23, I feel ya. This will be my first V6. I do want to experience the V8 sometime in my life. It's Just the mpg gives me the headaches and all the money spent on premium gas to make it goooo fasttt!!!!!

Perhaps my next Camaro will be the SS. But again, the 1SS you don't get many options and tech crap. You have to bump up another 5k to get just about all of the options in the 2SS.

I guess, it begs the question: 2LT (which I ordered) or the 2SS?

All that V8 power and 455 h.p. sounds wicked awesome to me!

The HP/weight ratio - makes the 6th Gen Camaro...

What is it like driving the new 6th gen V6 with the 335 h.p.? (This is the car that I ordered)

How will driving the new v6 6th gen compare to my ever so slow '14 impala ls?

I grew up watching the Indy cars back in the 80s and 90s. Going to the INDY 500 time trials every May. My dad was really into this stuff plus Formula 1. We were big Mario Andretti and Rick Mears fans. We went to the Cleveland Grand Prix and Mid Ohio Race Course near Dublin, ohio every year to see them race. I think that's where my love for cars started.
