I wouldn't even waste your time. Run stock manifolds over 1000 all the time.

I wanted the Holly so bad. Really just for the fact that it looks Bad Ass. But my tuner said he wouldn't tune the car if I wasted my money on it . Said more then likely it would do more harm then good.

LOL You aren't going to do any harm but it might not make any extra power but its your money to do what you want. If your tuner has that much control over your car Id find a new tuner

Unless you're going to make huge power, it's not worth it. You only see gains on the high end of the power band. So to see any significant increases, you would have to spend most of your time driving it that way. Do something like that when and if you do a big build, but even then it would be for more aesthetic purposes.

Two things. 1) it needs to be machined to fit. 2) this thread... http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=393085

He just knows I like to waste money. And not tuning it was a joke. When the new motor is done it will get one.

You will not be limited by the intake stock or aftermarket intake either way. You will be limited by the fuel octane and quantity. The tuner will be adjusting the tune to give max combustion efficiency given the limitation of the fuel quality. More flow is a pulley swap and the supporting mods. Why "fix" something that ain't broken?

Yea, when I asked about the manifold change possibility, I was just basically told "want more power, turn up the boost". Made sense, unless your shooting for a certain look, or just want to do it because.
