Blue Velvet Metallic paint blending
Hi All:
I hit metal debry on freeway. Have 4-deep scratches, each 4-inch long. It’s on right door and rear fender. Under the sun the metallic pops, and shade of blue changes at different angle. Can body shop painter match the metallic and blue so it looks the same under the sun? Aloha, Eric |

A good qualified painter should be able to. BTW, the “rear fender” is called the quarter panel.

Make sure the painter knows how to use "flop adjuster". The way the metalics. lay down on the panel is called "flop" and a properly trained painter can create a seamless repair.
