Regretable. Convential wisdom would make one think they would empty the parts bins to meet the demand. They’re out to prove that it’s an EV future for the company even if that move ultimately destroys them.

going to be super low production run for the 24MY

perhaps the 23 value could creep up a bit due to this ??

Maybe they're doing this because the parts bins are already getting thin enough. Factor in the UAW strikes and it wouldn't surprise me if they're just calling it early because know they won't have the parts to run past that date.

Well, I take back my comment about them actually caring about the Camaro.

If my order isn’t picked up, the fiance will be the one getting a V8, not I. Might be a 25 Mustang GT household instead, lol.

It appears a dealer north of Detroit has some 24’s available. I drive past every day to work and know they have at least two of them that have been sitting out front for over a week.
Good luck to whoever reaches out and is able to land one

Well, it looks like I’ll be out of luck then. This whole process has been beyond frustrating.

Seems like a ton of cars were built and sent to Midwest states. Usually, Florida gets a crap ton but most dealerships around me got 2-5 24 allocations when they get 10-15 on average.

Here's why the allocation system is a problem. You've got customers waiting in line for allocation at some dealers, whereas other dealers with no line receive the allocations. Why these orders don't go directly to GM at once, who then divvies them out is beyond my understanding.

Going to be tough going as the parts are getting low and the UAW strike is hitting the parts warehouse’s in this round. So unless Lansing has the parts there already it probably isn’t getting built unless they wrap this strike up quick.

Yeap, what I don’t get is why can’t they extend production? Its not like they care about their CAFE ratings as much with the CT cars still ongoing production.
