Thinking about buying a new Camaro without looking at it first. Thoughts ??

Since I had a bad experience at a dealership. I was gonna buy a new Camaro and hopefully have it shipped to my house. What do you guys think ?

Obviously. I think would have to wire money to the dealership and all that BS through the mail I guess.

No and NO.. FOR Brand New camaro.. maybe and why not for a used one as most used are sold as is.

You need to look over the buying a new camaro check list in this forum.

The dealership had to sand and repaint my front splitter as it was all scratched up before I took ownership.

Other people talk about paint imperfections seat imperfections all you have no leg to stand on once the car is in your possession.

Find another dealer

Start with the Internet manager or fleet manager via email tell them you are looking at ordering a Camaro not buying one from inventory and polling several dealers to find the one who will earn your business. See what you can put together that way.

Marko,

Did you read my PM? Those ladies know what they are doing...and they come highly recommended by dozens of people on the C5/C6 forums.

I have both of them in my friends list on FB at that, too...

I bought mine sight unseen from a distant state had to have hbm, mag ride and npp convertible, stick also lol. Was the only one left that checked those boxes! I have had no issues, if you wanted to be super anal there's a couple spots in clear no biggie for me. Minor paint correction would take them out if you had to have them out. The fits are good and the cars a beast love it 11,000 on it so far

I have had lease vehicles delivered to my house by the dealer with the whole deal occurring via email, then signing in my driveway. It really isn't as big of a deal as some people make it out to be. If you have never driven a Camaro before, though, I wouldn't skip the test drive, even if you did the rest remotely. I can't imagine why you wouldn't like it, but please make sure before you buy.

If you really want that one, call a local mechanic and pay him $100 to go take a look at it for you.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I did test drive a new SS the other day and loved it. Auto transmission. Love the dual mode exhaust too

I also have a 2003 Cobra. Garage queen. Just getting old and tired of driving a stick. But I’m not gonna sell it.

If one of those ladies is Becky at James-Martin Chevrolet in Detroit, pull the trigger and relax.

Reach out to Becky Doyle. She is on this forum, and she ships country wide, and everyone here that have used her has had nothing but great things to say. I purchased my car through her, and the experience was the best. She got me exactly what I wanted and shipped the car right to my driveway in perfect condition.

They're mass produced so technically, if you know what you want, no reason to have to be there in person. Maybe ask someone on the forum who's near that dealership if they mind taking a close look at it for you?
