Escort Radar/Dash cam combo

https://www.escortradar.com/collections/bundles

Are these any good for the price? Or would it be better just to buy them separate?

Granted Radar detectors Escort makes some of the best.

Seems awfully pricey though. I could buy a better dash cam with display but it would take up more room along with my radar detector and GPS already mounted.

I can't speak to the quality of these particular models, but it doesn't look to me like either one has a rear camera - if you are getting one to protect yourself, you definitely need two cameras or you'll miss the guy that rear ends you. The one advantage these give you is that you only need to figure out one mounting location.

Also - you really don't need a display on your dashcam, like you say it will just take up room. You're probably not going to be watching it on that screen anyway - most good ones either have cloud access or you can wi-fi to your phone so you can aim it during set up and watch your recordings there. The screen will just cost money that would be better spent on a higher resolution camera.

I like the ones that go to your phone so if the police get mad and "dispose" of it you still have evidence.

Not police bashing but these days you know with stuff going on.

I've been using Escort for many years and I'm a big fan. I would agree that they make some of the best on the market, hence the pricing. I can't speak to that exact model, but I have been toying with the idea of getting a dashcam.
