Note: V6 1le was faster through the VIR infield during that test than an Audi R8 V10+ & a Jaguar Project 7.

Based on yours being a 2016 RS (not a 1LE) and equal drivers, I unfortunately have to give the nod to the Nismo. He can fit a wider tire on the stock rims, has you by about 100 lbs. and can stop quite a bit quicker
Sorry :( |

Test numbers for RS & Nismo are at the bottom of each page.
Handling between the two is nearly identical & well within tire choice making the difference. http://www.motortrend.com/cars/chevr...st-review/amp/ http://www.motortrend.com/cars/nissa...irst-test/amp/ |

With about a 18k base price difference and similar performance, the Camaro is a no brainer.

if you mean autoX, then as most have pointed out pros and cons with each winning, it may come down to driver. however, if you meant track, as in streets of willow, laguna seca, summit point, vir... I still believe It would be down to driver and setup. main reason, is I;ve seen a lot of cars great at autoX, hit the track, like big tracks, and struggle with cooling, tires and brakes especially. I mean you can go off the websites and papers if comparing bone stock to bone stock, but once things start getting added on, only way to tell is to take em both out and run em.

......and aren't some of the F-stock podium guys running 19's over 20's (rhetorical question) That said, don't misunderstand, the RS could prevail........your just starting off with a bit of a disadvantage. |
