Ha, ha! Welcome to our party! Unfortunately, we can't seem to really get this party started - we would all love to be able to satisfy your request for real-life reviews to make your wait more bearable, but we are still stuck in our own unbearable wait!

I am sure it will be a real party once they start arriving

, but it would be nice just to get them started shipping!

Wow! The rail yard! At that point I would have trouble not checking every 15 minutes to see if it has moved!

I am going to ask my dealer to activate onstar for me - I was waiting to be sure Flynnaz's dealer didn't have an alternative for me before asking them, but krypton green isn't really my color, so I will have to stay put!

Maybe mlee isn't the only one there - hopefully we are all going to be loaded on trains at about the same time.

In your case, I'm not sure I could wait more than 5 minutes between updates!!

Asking the dealer to set up OnStar for me right now!

Ok, dealer says doesn't think that they can set up OnStar before the car is delivered, stating that they are penalized if the OnStar button in the car is not pushed within 24 hours of initializing. I responded with a link to the thread about using it before delivery (to show him it can be done), but I would like to know if he is correct about the penalty - I can see that possibly being legit and that some dealers just wouldn't care whether or not they got penalized (customer service being more important than a small fee), or I can see him just using that to discourage me.

Does anyone know if the dealership is penalized for activating OnStar before the car is delivered? I am also going to post the question to Becky in the tracking thread, but she seems to be having too much fun at Daytona - I almost don't want to bother her!
