TTV6 would be cool for the Camaro but I can't imagine the uproar over in the 'Vette forums at the thought of putting a V6 (forget about the TT part) in a Corvette. Those dark days are rooted way in the past for the 'Vette and so many owners will work to keep it that way.

Mid engined vette will never happen.

So GM just announced they are spending hundreds of millions of dollars on next generation V8's why?

Get real. They might make a FI V6 an option
Maybe

Corvettes have almost always been V8s. it should stay that way. i know GM can easily make a V8 with decent power but still get good fuel economy. hell, theyre doin it right now. who knows what they could come up with in the following years

I'm sure they will still offer a V8 for the z06.

The Turbo-v6 will probably just be for the base model C7 .. like how the C1 Corvette had an i6.

It'll probably make 400+ like we saw in the Leno Camaro, so power shouldn't be an issue, especially in a lighter, mid engined Corvette. Should be fantastic, actually!

Do we have a source for the Saab report? Sounds like a bit of misinformation to me.

My only problem is the reliability of the turbos. I am a flight instructor, and the turbos in our aircraft are not popular or reliable. They are better than those in cars, and still a problem, with shorter life spans and high maintenance costs. A surprising number of the Solstice turbos have been having problems.

I want a V8 for the sound, even if it's a 4.0L V8 with turbo.

This is chopped vette! Is this going to be a 4 seater? Certainly doesn't look like it will be.

I don't know about a mid engine vette. Doesn't sound right to me.

This has FALSE written all over it. Especially becasue GM changed their mind about having a mid engine Vette.
