Meh. 7 speed manual does sound like overkill. Most cars have enough overlap in their gearing ratios that a 4 would suffice. I even remember a friends 1964 Ford Falcon with a manual "3 on the tree".

I'm posting it!!! the 2015 Camaro will look like this, carring over styling cues from the C7 and the ATS. It will host a 107-108" wheelbase, a 70"-ish track, weigh slightly over 3300lbs in Ecotech 4 (which will be called E/28 or Eco/maro) and top out close to 3600lbs in TVS/TT V8 form.

Edit: Safety cage will use the same Boron/USS materials as the Volt, the engine cradle and IRS will also use UHSS in select locations.

I am working on an advance render of this concept named C6. E/28... Not 2.8 Liters... 28 Miles Per Gallon. First Pony car with 28MPG lol... city..
E/28 is a registered trademark of TPI and is not to be used outside the tradition of The Pill Incorporated

If they put a 4 banger in it,it will have to be turbo or supercharged. They don't want another "Iron Duke" on their hands

CAFE has me worried about the short term future of the performance car. With the standards having to be as high as they will be its no surprise to me that the volume engine will be a four-banger. I would expect every model to have a drop in power, but it would be largely offset (hopefully) by weight savings. The good news is that the 2.0L eco-tech had great fuel economy and more than adequate power at 260HP in Solstice and Sky configuration. Doesn't everyone remember all that talk of the next generation Chevy Small Block being a 5.5L?

I wont lie if you took that image and made it a little more aggressive and some better looking wheels Id honestly be happy with the 6th gen looking like that.

Thats the angle I am working, aggressive hips, lower intercooler grille, lower hood lip, fog light adjustment, flat or double hump roof and I will definately change the oversized passenger side side mirror.

I know 28MPG city is tough to swallow from a Turbo 2.0 but highway is doable. Ecotec 2.0 kit would be standard with 290hp@5400 and 320@2000 for a 3300 pounder.. wouldn't be bad for a $23,000 entry..

I say make the head lights look cooler like the current RS headlamps on the 5th gen. I think the fogs look better also if they were more oriented directly under neath the head lights as well. can you make another render and do those changes + remove the white SS badging and stripe and replace the center grill with a Chevy badge? I also like the sharktooth looking stock grille on the 5th gen, maybe you can work that in instead of a plain grille?

May sound like a lot but with those kind of minor changes Id be really happy with that design for the 6th gen and Id definitely buy it.

Im pretty sure we wont get a 4cyl. Im sure theyll make a more efficient v6 by then.
That would be stupid, its a sports car, not a civic.
I think I would loose my pride in the Camaro is it ever went 4 cyl to be honest
