Oil pressure after oil vhange

Did anyone else notice that the oil pressure is a bit higher after a fresh oil change?

What was the oil temperature, was it the same in both instances? It’s also possible that the oil was diluted/contaminated with fuel.

Colder oil will always be higher so it also depends on ambient temps.

Yes, it was about 40psi with initial start. As it warmed up, the idle psi went from 40 to 31 when fully warmed up.
