FootWell lighting

I want to do this mod so bad, but I don't know anything about wiring.
I've read a lot about this here and people had posted diagrams and stuff but I'm just an ordinary person that is stupid with this kind of things.

And also has anyone tried wiring it with their DRL so it would turn on at night automatically?

This is an option on some cars, right? That means we can get dealers to install them for us?

Wiring stuff up actually isn't too difficult. I'm wanting to do this too... I just haven't yet. There's some posts that have some info about what wires you'd tap into to do what you want. That Stig guy seems to know a lot about which wires do what, so I'm sure he could help you out.

GM also has a Kit that Dealers do install. It can also be done as a DIY. The kit is completely Plug-and-Play.

Here is the best DIY IMO.

The plug and play kit from GM cost close to $500 or more...

Buy the ABL kit from AAC it matches very nicely!

I paid $310.00 (this included shipping also) for my GM Ambient Lighting Kit from GM Parts House. If You shop around you can find lower prieces then what the dealerships charge. Also the LED's match what is already in the car for the ABL Lights and it is Plug-and-Play, no T-taps or cutting and splicing of any wires, also you only have to drill three holes.

It is a great option for sure, for a Plug and Play option.

If you know what you are doing, an don't mind a T-Tap or just running new wires, you can save $240 to put towards another mod.

For $70 you get the foot well lights, and the Dome/Trunk LED's as well, that match the factory ABL color.
