What other car can create such an emotional attachment with it's customers 5 years into it's lifecycle?? There aren't many, I assure you.
Be patient for one more week. There are so many things we have lost hope in these days, but getting excited because of the anticipation of a refreshed Camaro keeps the child in all of us Camaro fanatics alive and well.
P.S. I love the Flounder reference....my favorite movie (Boy, is this great!!)

If this is true then what I said does come into play. 70mm is considered a Zoom, and will flatten the perspective.
Hi, i just have the exif from the pic here posted but i bet its the original.

And yes, i think the new fascia is not flatter than the 10-13īs.

If I remember correctly that was a photo taken from the design studio of a concept for the ZL1 that was changed to the design they have now because it wasn't as aerodynamic. I don't think that is just some photoshop. I like it too and maybe there is some of that influence in the 2014.

You can read ALL ABOUT the 'hideaway' headlamps at:

...have you EVER seen the headlight doors align properly on a 1967-1969?

also - people tell us the car weighs too much - adding Hideaways would only add to the complexity of build PLUS add weight..............

I love the idea of no mail slot. Always hated that on the SS. Albiet distinctive to the SS, it's one of those things I really don't care for.

This is gelling quite nicely on timing. I'm getting ready to do SOMETHING as far as a new Camaro purchase soon. Got a line on a few ZL1s currently in showrooms around here and there (going to look at one tomorrow in fact) and if the 2014 still has a ZL1 (or better) available.....Camaro times are good my friends.

I like the 69 Camaro look of the current car, so I am thankful that the 1LE came out for the 2013 model year. This refresh may bring in more people who are going to like a different look.
Cruze MCE was pretty much canceled. 2014 Cruze looks exactly like a 2013.

Yes - you are wrong.

The 2014 Camaro will be INSTANTLY recognizable as a Camaro. That's a promise!

Now -- that said:

Let me remind everyone of the 50/50/80 rule..........

...........and that is:

when we change anything on a Camaro (or Corvette)

>50 percent will love it.

>50 percent will hate it.

...and a few months later when the finished product hits the streets.....

>80 percent of the 50 percent that hated it will now love it.............

I've watched it happen for 40+ years...................

IT'S A GREAT TIME TO BE A CAMARO ENTHUSIAST!!!!

I can't imagine loving the looks of any Camaro as much as the one I have now. To me it's the perfect match of old classic and new modern. At least it would have to really punch my buttons a lot more than the one I have now for me to spend any more of my retirement money on a new one.
Gm's design team hit a home run with the 2010-2013, here's hoping its a Grand Slam with the 2014.

we all know that if it does have an ugly chrome strip we'll all find a way to make it body color! Let the modding begin!
