ATS-V goes to 450HP with a 3.6TT

The new Caddy ATS-V boasts a new twin turbo V6, pushing 450hp, while the Camaro moves to the ATS platform... I am guessing the 2016 Camaro SS will get a TT 3.6, pushing 265HP. New Cadillac ATS-V = 2016 Camaro Performance baseline.

No.

There is no reason for a TT Camaro when the LT1 exists.

I'm sure it'll be a performance monster, but am I alone in thinking that the ATS-V coupe LOOKS horrible?

You forget there are government regulations in place requiring a certain level of emissions/carbon footprint.

They may end up with both a LT1 for the "purists" but have a TT option to help conform to regs...

I like the ATS-V. I like it more than the 2014 Camaro "refresh".

The LT1 gets better mileage than the LF3 in the CTS-Vsport. Pushing it to 450 hp will not help mileage.

We will not see an LT1 in a "regular" Camaro until at least 2018. Maybe a Z/28 but not an SS/ZL1

The LT1 will power the SS, or what ever they call the base V8.

Since you are so certain, what will power the SS Camaros?

As indicated at the top of this thread, he thinks it'll be the TT 3.6 V6.

Obviously, most of us (including me) will strongly disagree with that theory.

I wasn't sure because he put 265 hp.
