V6 class need input
Should it be if we get enough V6 out to do a class like the STOCK V8 class has:
STOCK V8: Any V8 Camaro. CAI and/or Catback only, are allowed. No Headers, tune, engine modifications. (Street tires will consist of OE radials or any DOT street compound radial, regardless of size. Tire must have a 200+ treadwear rating to fit into this class) I know most LLTs that race have headers and a tune and that would eliminate you from that "Stock class" and put you into the power adder group AGAIN. So let's help out the Admins. What would you ( V6 racers ) consider a fair class split. N/A and Power adders ?? Or the "Stock" and modified? I might be overstepping on this but trying to help the V6 class this time so it is fair for all. The real thing is can we get enough * At least 8 for each class * before the Fest so Admins have time to figure things out. They have enough to do and maybe will help solve one more issue before it gets to close to the Fest. |

Camaro fest
N/A class or power adders class. I have a feeling very few will show up "stock" unless stock means cai and catback, no tune. Then there might be a few. If so id be willing to bet they arent on c5 or alot of the camaro pages for performance. We shall see!

I think NA vs Power Adders makes sense. If enough people show up to race that is.

Not likely to happen. There was 14 V6 for last fest. 4 out of those 14 were power adders

Hopefully more will show up this year. If not that's ok, I know Rick's just trying to help because there was so much crying last time about how it wasn't fair. I'm ok with whatever happens.

I'm hoping to attend. I can run with or without my nitrous.

Nice video of one of my I'll just take it easy passes. I am not this saying to be an @$$, but during the Fest I had runs a lot faster this one. If I know I had a performance advantage I would do what was needed to win. I've been to events where I had to run faster cars and they would just do everything they could to see how big of a gap they could put on me. The Fest is an event more for fun and I wanted to keep it that way. That is why I am going to be doing all N/A runs and Nitrous runs this year. There are going to F/I V6s coming that will smash me into the ground with their ETs even with me on nitrous but I'll give it my best and still offer to shake their hands at the end win or lose.

I think N/A and power adders is a good way to split the V6's up. I'm trying as hard as I can to make this year happen, it's not looking very likely however.
