Weld Drag Wheels Now Available & In Stock For the 2010 SS!!
Guys I'm proud to announce that Weld has now finished up the RT-S series wheels for the 2010 Camaros. We test fit the production version yesterday & I have to say these things are absolutely awesome! I also have to say I'm pumped up about how much cheaper these things are than the other drag wheel combos out there!
We've got a intro special going for all of you guys right now & even have black face & polished face wheels in stock!! The wheels on our shop L99 car are the polished version, but we also have a black face option as well! The car in the pics have Hoosier 28" rears & M&H front 28" skinnies! This car lost 130# from swapping the GM 21" wheels to these Welds! If memory serves me correctly the fronts were 32# & the rears were 45#! Those are very cool! I saw them at SEMA, and am glad to see actual ones on a car. It is about time the drag wheel manufacturers made some wheels for modern brake equipped cars. Do you know if they make C6 Vette fitments/widths too?

Awesome wheels! Also an awesome price for forged wheels, does Weld recommend daily driving these (with radials obviously)? I might look into these if for some reason I don't like my 18's. I used to daily my 15x3.5/15x10 Weld Draglites in my 98 SS.

Am I reading this correctly? They are only offered in 15, 17, and 18 diameters?
no love for those wanting 16" wheels? :( and is the price listed on your website for a pair or for each wheel?

The 15" are for the 4th gen f-bodies and the 17" are the smallest that will fit the 5th gen Camaro, Corvette's, etc.

The price is per wheel guys! No 16" because they don't offer any 16" RT-S wheels at all. Also there is no plans of adding 16". Bogart does 16" wheels still though...

Just seen the price WTF That is still crazy! How much for a 18x10? I dont know man, mabey I am cheap but I was hoping for a nice $300 dallar 18" wheel! I dont see why this is so hard to make... I guess everyone is just made of money these days. You know how many rims a company would sell if they made a drag setup at $300 a wheel

i'll 2nd that !! there is no need to charge $$$$$ for a set of wheels. I t just seems when you say New Camaro prices go sky high.!

There is a price for strength and quality products. When it comes to wheels on my car, I will not chance a wheel failure. Especially on a lighter drag setup. Weld forging are second to none! Yes they may be a little more expensive but how much damage could a wheel coming apart cause? You can build a cheaper wheel when you are talking a normal street wheel, no problem. When it comes to a lighter wheels for race applications, I'd pay for the strength. Remember, on a drag setup, you want the smaller wheel to add more sidewall to the tire. More sidewall makes for a better hooking tire!

I get all that, but I had no problems with my weld drag lights at $200 a wheel! $500 is crazy man, you cant tell me weld cant make a prostar type wheel in 18" for $300 bucks! I dont know whats worse...$1000 dollar catbacks or these crazy drag wheel prices! So weld made us a rim that we were all waiting for... and still did not solve the problem!
This is why we dont see alot of guys running good times in 5th gens with little mods, who wants to spend $3500-4000 dollars on a drag wheel setup when you could do cams, heads, bolt-ons ect for all that money. But then we end up at the track not putting the power down! Rims and tires would be my first mod with the exception of headers over anything else....IF... they were priced right! So just like everyone else, I will end up with 550hp doing a little at a time before I have tires on this damn car!
