Is it just me, wondering why the gas door seems to stick out like a sore thumb? Awkward location. I've had my 5th gen 6 years now and still forget the gas is located on the passenger side. Love the car, can't wait to see one in person.

I can't wait to see Hyper Blue next to Laguna Blue out in the sun... I might have a bona-fide bluegasm!

Is it not the same color, just different names?

If Hyper Blue was the same as Laguna Blue you would be paying for it. Laguna Blue is a multi-stage paint with a tinted clearcoat, while Hyper Blue is a traditional base/clear.

Sadly I must agree. I went to the GM display at the Dream Cruise with anticipation to see the Hyper Blue that I was sure to get. But seeing it in person was underwhelming. It had none of the pop and luster the blue on the corvette has. The blue Camaro was under a tent so maybe that had something to do with it. Suprisingly the silver vert with red interior and black accents really popped. And seeing it has me leaning toward ordering a vert exactly like it. Had a great conversation with Al Oppenheiser also. |

Based on these and other photos I'd grade the blues as follows: Ford's Liquid Blue: A+ Laguna Blue: B+ Hyper Blue: C |

The amount and color of the metallic in the paint has a lot to do with that too.

I've seen it at the reveal, and for a medium blue color, it gets my vote for the next color for my next Camaro. Unless they make Laguna Blue available.
