Rear tires only - Mix & Match?

I have a 2011 2SS with the stock 20" wheels. Front tires have plenty of meat left on them but rears are down to the wear bars. Don't have the capital to do what I want (ZL1 10 - 11 wheels and all new tires) and don't see the sense of tossing perfectly good fronts. I have Toyo Proxes all around. Is it advisable to get some Nittos or another brand for the rears or should I stick with the same until I do all four? Don't want to create some weird handling issue with mixed tires.....

Just don't mix tires left and right.

I'm having handling issues with having mixed set up but I also have a 285 Goodyear up front and 315 toyo in rear.

Should be fine, but depends on what you will be doing with the car. If you are using those on the track it's probably not desirable but would still work.

And try to keep them in the same "class" for more predictable handling, for example don't use winter tires on the front and slicks on the back.
