g force in HUD

I have a 2012 zl1 and when I toggle threw the different setups for the hud I can't find the g force one. I only have 3 presets not 4. Does the 2012 not have the g force setting.

It is after the tach and speedometer. I have a convertible and there are four presets on it.

I think you have to have it in one of the PTM modes for the G-force to show.

My bet is that the G meter was new in 2013.

I have a 2013 M6 convertible and the HUD has 4 settings

MPH only
MPH and Tach
MPH and G-meter
MPH, compass, and Temp

Check your manual.

The convertibles don't have PTM modes and my 2013 convertible does have the G-meter.

My 12 has a G-Meter. It's the next screen after the Speedo/tach

I have it in my 2012 coupe and it does not have to be in the PTM modes.

I have a 2012 auto coupe. I just looked again and I only have 3 settings. Anyone know what else I can do? The setting after speed/tach is speed/temp/direction.

I don't think it's that accurate, reads pretty high from what I've heard about lateral g-force. I've seen it go up close to 1.3 and I think that's supposed to be kind of crazy to pull that much.

I do like it a lot though, always leave it on that screen.

Dealer might have to update the hud info thru their global link system. Takes maybe five min. Had my hud replaced and drove off with checking. So I had to go back and have them update it. It's a quick fix( if the dealer knows what their doing)

This is what I thought as well. It said I was pulling 1.1 on a corner a few days ago and I thought it may be off. I think the car is well capable of 1.1 but I wasn't pushing it that hard.
