Me personally, it would be back at the dealership. Making sure they put a brand new supercharger on it and I'd like to see the old one when done. Good luck

Ya, I would be taking that back into them, that's not a normal sound. I am also wondering what the dealership said to you about it.

Hold the camera in the front, snout where the pulley is located.

Funny you should say that, sound really isn't coming from the front snout area, it sounds like its coming from the rear of the supercharger, like a bearing back there or something. I used a good camera to record, valvetrain and injectors sound pretty loud no? is that normal on the LSA? Even think I hear an exhaust leak.

Going to drive by the Dealer today.

Valve train and injectors sounds normal for LSA, normal ticking. Get a cheap stethoscope from autoparts store, 20 bucks and place it on the snout and then the supercharger.

Finally got to the dealer today, I had the shop foreman listen to it, He agreed!!

He said this sounds worse than the old one we took out. He's going on vacation for 2 weeks. Told me to wait until he gets back so he can be around and take care of it, He expects push back from GM so he wants to take care of it for me.

Is it an intermittent misfire going on there? Seems to be shaking sometimes. That will also produce rattling sounds at idle. Just something to look at. You have to watch the whole video to see what I mean. Good luck.

I get what your saying!

I do seem to believe that the front isolator is not the ONLY problem with the LSA supercharger, I think there is more to it.

On my original supercharger, marble noise came from the front. I took off the belt and felt the slack and knock by hand spinning the pulley. This "New" supercharger sounds like the marble noise is coming from the rear, I also took off the belt and no slack or knock from the front pulley. The original supercharger made the noise cold OR hot. This new one makes more noise as the car gets hotter.

Sounds like the rear bearings are shot in the rear.

So...Picked up the car today, New Supercharger #2.
