Sorry for your loss. Been there. Had my '82 Z28 stolen years ago. Got it back though in pretty good condition, though she never felt the same again. Car theft ring in Florence Alabama got it. Cops found it with the guys out in it, armed and looking for more to steal. They actually had a shopping list for more cars to steal on them when arrested.

Insurance companies use to want 30 days to recover a stolen car before they would pay off. Do they still provide a rent car? Is it still the same? These thieves aren't wanting this car found. I think they want a parts car.

My 1985 IROC-Z was stolen in 92 and the police found it three weeks later completely stripped and I only had liability insurance. Total loss, only good thing was that I was able to write off the loss on my taxes.

Hope you get yours back in one piece.

Sucks ...Sorry to hear this. If it were me, I wouldnt want it back. Id pray that they strip it, total it, burn it...whatever to get a new one. You'll never know what they done to your car. Hope you have gap ins Just in case needed.
