I used to think that too. Many manuals in the past 4 & V8's but the A10 changed my mind! Cheers. Enjoy your manual, I still like them too.

Just my 2 cents.
His dealer lied to him lol. This is absolutely how it goes

I would find it impractical to drive daily, and not just because it gets less than 17 MPG, the visibility, the low seating position in traffic, but because the car deserves to be out in the open road, not stuck in traffic.

I use a 1/8 of a tank on the way home from the gas station and it’s pretty close. I’m getting more like 13 mpg. I did watch a video that said 19 mpg in snow mode but I wouldn’t drive mine daily either.

My salesman actually told me that my SS Sedan would sell quicker if it were a manual. I told him that if it were a manual, I wouldn't be trading it in for a ZL1. The manuals will be harder to find, and I figure they'll be worth more than their automatic counterparts. I guess his dealer just wanted to make sure he could lowball the trade-in amount.

Thx for all the info, if it is a twin disc, and has its own
Idiosyncrasies, compared to a single disc.that would
Explain my unfamiliarity with it,and yes, stop and go
With this in traffic is a PIA, but I’ll get over it, and
Eventually get use to it, and yes, this sucks gas
BIG TIME!!! And if gas prices go nuts, I’ll jump
On my motorcycle!

Sorry I'm curious... what's up with the short lines, strange punctuation, capital letters starting each new line etc? Your posts look like stanzas in a poem or song, do you write poetry? If so that's cool, I like songs and poetry :-)

This is great information for me. I’m on the fence right now between A10 and 6M. waiting to order 2023 ZL1 was pretty set on six speed manual with 1LE package. But now you have me thinking.

I have an automatic, but it's quite strange that one would be swayed from a very significant purchase decision by a single forum thread, where a tiny proportion of Tremec owners discuss the clutch and most just say one needs to get used to it... can't you simply walk into a dealership and test drive an M6 Camaro, or perhaps ask another owner nearby to let you drive theirs a few miles?

Proper grammar is harder than you think. I see some people writing stuff and I swear it has to take a lot of mental energy to write that way. Like I think they proofread their stuff to actually make it incorrect so they'll look like they're creative or something. It makes no sense. I can only imagine what their resume looks like.
